This pack includes the Buena Vista Syrah, Moon Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Sheriff of Buena Vista red Blend.
Red wine is ideal for pairing with hearty food, and here are three of our finest!
The Counts Selection Syrah opens with alluring aromas of black cherry, black plums and a hint of clove. Rich flavors of blueberries and blackberries are layered with notes of dark chocolate and black pepper on the finish.
Our Buena Vista Moon Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of cassis, menthol, and cocoa, and flavors of cedar and blackberry. Medium to full-bodied, the palate offers lovely intensity, plush tannins, good freshness, and a long, nuanced finish.
The Sheriff of Buena Vista is our bold and powerful blend; that reminds us of the two years our Count spent as the first Sheriff of San Diego County in 1850 and 1851. The exact blend changes slightly every year; currently it features 8 grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache, Petite Verdot, Mouvedre, Merlot, and Mission. This wine jumps from the glass with aromas of plum, black cherries and violets. On the palate this wine is silky and juicy, with flavors of blackberry jam, black currant, and cracked black pepper.
