2021 The Count's Selection Rosé

The Buena Vista Vinicultural Society was formed in 1863 by the winerys founder, Count Agoston Haraszthy, to further improve its winemaking prowess and expand its vineyards. The Vinicultural Society has been restored as a collection of unique small-production wines that honor the winerys pioneering spirit and contribution to California winemaking. The collection of wines explores clonal selections, varietals and the incredible terroir of Northern California.

Sold out.

A dark salmon pink color, this wine opens with notes of chocolate, cassis and earth with a touch of red fruit and cedar. Full-bodied with a well-balanced texture mid-palate mixed with flavors of blackberry, white pepper and herbs. This wine has luxurious, plush tannins, finely integrated structure and a long nuance finish.

The grapes for this wine were harvested between September 18 and October 1 from prestigious vineyards in Sonoma Valley. Picked at the peak of perfection, these delicate grapes were aged in stainless steel to maintain its bright acidity and fresh flavor.
