2020 The Count's Selection Rosé

The Buena Vista Vinicultural Society was formed in 1863 by the winerys founder, Count Agoston Haraszthy, to further improve its winemaking prowess and expand its vineyards. The Vinicultural Society has been restored as a collection of unique small-production wines that honor the winerys pioneering spirit and contribution to California winemaking. The collection of wines explores clonal selections, varietals and the incredible terroir of Northern California.

Uplifting aromas of strawberry, rose water and orange blossom greet the nose in this 2020 Rosé. Watermelon and white peach flavors mingle with juicy raspberry and bright acidity. Light on the palate, this is a crisp, well-balanced wine with a refreshing finish.

The grapes for this wine were harvested between September 18 and October 1 from prestigious vineyards in Sonoma Valley. Picked at the peak of perfection,
these delicate grapes were aged in stainless steel to maintain its bright acidity and fresh flavor.
