The Buena Vista Vinicultural Society, formed in 1863 by the winerys founder, Count Agoston Haraszthy to further improve its winemaking prowess and expand its vineyards, has been restored as a collection of unique small-production wines that honor the winerys pioneering spirit and contribution to California winemaking.
The Vinicultural Society explores clonal selections, varietals and the incredible terroir of Sonoma County. In keeping with the adventurous spirit of Buena Vistas founding, we are proud to bring you this delicious 2017 Karolys Selection Petite Sirah.
The 2018 Karolys Selection Petite Sirah on first impression is a stunning dark purple hue in the glass. A bouquet of violets, black cherries, and black tea fills the air when swirilling this wine within the glass. On the palate the silky wine coats your pallet with flavors of blueberry, dark chocolate, and black tea. This is a full bodied wine with firm tannins and a long lingering finish.
