2018 Count's Selection Albariño

In keeping with the adventurous spirit of Buena Vistas founding, we are proud to bring you this delicious 2018 Albariño, known for being lightly colored but aromatic with high acid and bright fruit flavors.

Sold out.

Our 2018 Albariño opens with aromas of crisp pear, light jasmine and a hint of minerality. On the palate flavors of citrus, green apple and a touch of honeysuckle shine through. The wines aging in neutral oak and concrete creates a refreshing and creamy mouthfeel with brightly balanced acidity.

From a steep vineyard in the Red Hills of Lake County between Kelseyville and Clear Lake, this high-elevation vineyard has rocky soil that produces low yields. The red dirt gives the appellation its name and causes the vines to strain, producing small clusters and concentrated flavors. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed and fermented with native yeast in concrete tanks.
