2019 Private Reserve Chardonnay

The Private Reserve wines are the ultimate wines within the portfolio. They are limited in production, sourced from the finest vineyards in Sonoma County and from appellations best suited for a specific varietal given the dramatic diversity in climatic and soil conditions across the County.

Fragrant aromas of butter cream, baked key lime pie and toasted almonds spring from the glass in this 2019 Sonoma County Chardonnay. Pear and baked apple flavors coat the palate with a creamy texture. Notes of toasted brioche and honey are complemented by tropical fruits and a touch of white pepper. The finish is refreshing and lingers.




The grapes were hand-picked between September 27 and October 12 and were sorted, whole-cluster pressed and barrel fermented with 100% malolactic fermentation before being aged in separate lots for 14 months in 5% new French oak.
