The self-proclaimed Count, and our founder, Agoston Haraszthy, understood
that great wine comes not only from great grapes, but also from great places. In
the 1860s Buena Vista covered more than 6,000 acres reaching from the
southernmost part of Sonoma Valley into Napa County. Both regions oer a
unique terroir the magical combination of all the attributes required to create
outstanding wines of a particular site from the soil, to the climate, to the sites
exposure to the sun, to the vine itself.
Our Chateau Buena Vista Cabernet Sauvignon celebrates and honors Buena
Vistas indelible presence and significant contributions to the California wine
world. Buena Vista has returned to Napa Valley, where Cabernet is the King, if
not the Count.

This wine presents a deep, impenetrable garnet hue with a nose that unfolds with a symphony of dark succulent blackberries and ripe blackcurrants. Subtle hints of cassis lend an additional layer of complexity, while a graceful veil of dark cocoa delicately intertwines with the fruit, adding richness and allure. The tannins are beautifully integrated without overpowering the wine's inherent elegance. The mouthfeel is velvety and supple, carrying the concentrated flavors through a finish that lingers long after each sip.
